About Dr. Reiff

Dr. Marianne Reiff

I have been lucky enough to have worked all my adult life, first in jobs and then positions with community and non-profit groups. I earned a Ph.D.in Education in 1992 from the University of California, Santa Barbara in a program called Confluent Education, and I went on to have a career in higher education for over 25 years.  I have held jobs and positions and have enjoyed a satisfying career in higher education.

I’m retired now from academia and focus on work as a Level 3 Credentialed EFT Meridian Tapping Practitioner. Since 2016 I’ve maintained a private practice. I now and also provide no-cost and low-cost groups for seniors, community caregivers, and others interested in learning this powerful practical tool. This is my time to regroup and to give back, and I consider my work now with EFT a calling.

If you are interested in what we are all up to with EFT Meridian Tapping, feel free to connect with me or check out Resources in this website.

Ph.D. in Education (1992) University of California, Santa Barbara. Specialization in Confluent Education. Confluent Education has foundational roots in Gestalt learning theory. Basically, we learn when the whole person is engaged – the thinking part, the feeling/emotional part, and the physical part that is engaged by “doing.” This approach toward teaching and learning honors cognitive, affective, and psychomotor parts of who we are in this world.
